9 months old!!!!!!
Taylor Leigh is 9 months old today!! She has grown so much in the last month that I hardly know where to begin!! She is crawling like a maniac everywhere, pulling up on stuff, trying her hardest to stand up, eating tons of "real" food, playing all by herself, talking/babbling like she has A LOT to tell us, PERSONALITY, PERSONALITY, PERSONALITY!!! This child is very strong-willed. She screams when she wants to do something or when she wants you to do something. She understand the word "no" but doesn't like to be told that. She chews on everything in site. I promise you she has eaten more stuff in this house that I never even knew existed. She thinks it's fun to eat Kane's dog food, play/splash in his water bowl, and chase him around. She is amazed by him.
Some of Taylor's favorites include:
her walker(we refer to it as her car), water, bath time, playing outside, pulling up on stuff, grass, stroller rides, being chased by someone(absolutely loves this), swimming, pots/pans, wooden spoons, newspaper/magazines(only so she can tear it up), shopping with mommy, and buggy rides(grocery store, target, wal-mart, etc.)
Some new and favorite foods:
mashed potatoes, eggs, spinach dip, English peas, mac and cheese, chicken, steak, shrimp, pudding, jello, oatmeal, broccoli, corn, bananas, pineapple, watermelon, grapes, popsicles, and ice cream, and bread.
This pic is Taylor's new hobby... eating off her big girl tray on the floor. This helps keep her busy and in my sight while in the kitchen:)

We finally bit the bullet and bought a new car seat. Taylor is facing forward now and loves it!! She was not a very good car rider mainly because her car seat was getting too small, but also because she couldn't see out!! We have a DVD player in the car, but it comes down from the roof, so she couldn't watch that. Well, now she is a big girl and can watch TV which helps mommy and daddy out. We decided to buy a new car seat last Saturday while we were heading out of town. I was not fired up about sitting in the back seat the whole trip, and Taylor was not going to do well. She absolutely LOVES the new seat, watches TV, sleeps well, and can see out!! And mommy is happy because she can now ride in the front seat with daddy!! My how the smallest things in life can make you so happy!!
Taylor is such a sweet girl and we are enjoying every minute of her little life: the good days and the bad.... they are ALL WORTH IT!!! We love you Taylor!!

Taylor had her first beach trip and it was a blast. The beach was right outside the house we were staying in, so it made it very easy to get Taylor to and from the beach!! She liked the sand, but she really just wanted to eat it, so we stayed at the pool most of the time. Taylor did really well for being out in the sun (or outside for 3 days). We had lots of people on this trip.... Drew, Holli, Madyson, Lexi, Amber, David, Winston, Tim,
and Mom. My grandmother, Aunt Debbie, Uncle Charlie, Aunt Becky, Ginger, and Bryce also came to the beach but stayed in a different location. They came over each day to visit/ swim since we had our own pool. Taylor really enjoyed playing with Madyson, but when they both had enough... they sacked out!!
Taylor slept pretty well each night (which is a blessing since we spent the whole week prior to this trip up each night from teething... the tooth came through the day before we left!!) The guys played golf, we shopped, cooked in, and dined out!! I forgot to take pictures throughout the trip, so most of the pics were taken the same day or two!! It was good to see our family and we look forward to heading back to the beach in a week with James' family!!

EXCITING NEWS!!!!
WELL..... WE ARE MOVING!!!!!!!
James got a new job with a company called Cooper Industries in Lumberton, MS. So.... we will be moving to Hattiesburg! We are so very excited. The job opening, interview, decision making, etc. all happed so fast!! We were totally not expecting any of this but we all think it will be a GREAT change for us. We spend most all our weekends in Hattiesburg anyway, so now maybe we can save money on all that gas we are spending to drive back and forth :) haha. The company seems to be a really good company. James says they are a fortune 500 company( don't really know exactly what that means) but from what I gather... they are located all around the world and have many smaller, sister companies!! We are in the process of putting our house up for sale.. hopefully it will be on the market in the next day or two. And... we will start the process of finding a new house.. yes... I have already found dozens.. BUT we have to think of Taylor's daycare and where I will be working to locate an area!! James starts his new job on June 30th... yeah right around the corner!! God has opened so many doors for us and we are so very thankful to have this wonderful opportunity!!

Weekend Pics
Taylor loves being in the water.. and out watching all the kids. I am SO glad.. because I love the pool. I am trying to take her as much as possible (without over doing it) before we hit the beach twice this summer!! She seems to LOVE the water.. but she really hates her float.( both of them) She would rather be held and splash around!! She has started dunking her head under and drinking the water... not good!! But, all in all she likes to be outside!!
SURPRISE!!!!

Pool Time.....
by the end of the day.. she was sacked out!!
We took Taylor to the pool over the weekend. She loved it and had a great time!! She actually did so much better than I ever expected. She loved the water, but hated her float. She's too small for the seat so we have to find a new one. She liked to splash and play with her toys.. along with watching the older kids in the pool. I'm glad she enjoys the water.. we will be at the pool a lot over the summer!!
