Christmas Eve

We decided to start a new tradition and stay at our own house for Christmas. It worked out really well. My family came a few weekends ago and James' family came for Christmas. Taylor really enjoyed being at her own house for "Santa" and so did we. We knew next year would be really hard with both kids trying to travel, see everyone, and have Santa in Columbus. We are so blessed to have family around us during the holidays. We went to mass early (4:00) on Christmas Eve. There were over 500 people at that mass and it was hard for Taylor to tolearte it. At the end of the mass, Father Tommy had Santa come in and bring Baby Jesus a present... well.. we have been talking about Santa so much at our house that Taylor couldn't figure out why Santa was taking the present to baby Jesus and not to her.... so needless to say, we left mass with her crying!! Luckily, our house is close by and we let her open a gift from us and a gift from Cici and Pop Pop. She was perfectly happy then:)

getting ready to sing at church :)

setting out the cookies for Santa... she then had to eat half because she wanted Santa to share with her :)

Look what Santa left.. including her new big girl chair... her old one will soon be for little James:)

We had a wonderful Chrsitmas. We traveled to Jackson on Christmas Day to have the whole Wamble crew together and Linda's parents. It was a lot of fun and good food!!! Taylor and Drew always enjoy spending time together. They both cried when we left to go back home!!

The Gingerbread House

I waited until Cici arrived to start the gingerbread house!! Taylor loved it.. and had so much fun putting it together. She really wanted to eat all the pieces but we wouldn't let her. She was very proud of her house .... thanks Anna and Sydney :)

Look Who Saw Santa.....

If you know Taylor, you know she is deathly afraid of Santa.. or anyone dressed up for that matter. We have seen Santa in the mall 3 or 4 times, had breakfast with Santa, and NOT ONCE would she even go near him. She likes to talk to him from far away and wave to him, but No Chance she would sit in his lap.. or even stand behind him.. until Monday. Santa came to Taylor's school, so I figured this was our last attempt to get a quick pic with Santa. It is amazing what her friends and teachers can make her do. Taylor saw the kids in her class walking right up to Santa, so I finally talked her into getting a candy cane from him and "standing" beside him. Well, it worked, and she even hugged his leg at the end. This child amazes me more and more every day!! Enjoy the pics because we may never see her with Santa again :)

Christmas at Nana and Papaw's

We had Christmas at James' grandparents house in LA on Sunday. Taylor and Drew had a ball playing with his new remote control car he got to open that day. (James and Andrew had just as much fun driving the car) Here is Taylor running full force in the house.. she and Drew couldn't figure out how that car was chasing them but it sure was Exciting!!

notice who has the remote:)

Sweet Drew!!

showing off her twin dolls

Taylor loved sitting on Papaw's tractor.. she kept saying it was broken because it was so old :)

Taylor loves her Pop Pop

It was great to visit with family, as always, but so much fun this year with Taylor being so involved in Christmas. She has opened a present every day if the week I think. People have stopped by to see her and give her happies.. and she has loved every minute of it!! We are so blessed to have such wonderful Family and Friends!!

Kids Christmas Party

Every year we have an adult Christmas party with our friends and play dirty Santa. It's always a lot of fun, but our families are growing bigger and bigger each year. This year, we decided to do a Christmas party for the kids and let them draw names to exchange gifts. It was a great idea!! It's hard for all of us to get together because we all stay so busy. We had 2 one-year olds, 3 kids who will be one very soon, 3 two-year olds, and 2 pregnant women with another on the way!! You would think that it was a zoo around here, but ALL the kids got along very well. I was impressed that there was no fighting over toys and no fussing from the little ones!! We had the party at our house this year and Taylor loved it. The kids decorated Christmas door hangers and decorated cookies. Needless to say, they were all worn out and ready to go by the end of the night. We are so thankful for ALL our friends!!

Jackson, Taylor and Rylee making their Christmas trees

Raeghan finally joined the group :)

Taylor had fun decorating cookies. This was the first time I let her do it ALL by herself and she wouldn't stop decorating to eat the cookie!!

ok so she finally decided to try her very own decorated cookie

and she has the face to prove it was SOOOOO good :)

Poor Jackson is outnumbered. With all the kids, he is the oNLY boy... but not for long.. J will be here soon!! He wore this headband like a hat and played with a pink camera all night long.

I have to capture every moment I can watching Taylor open presents. She got something that she already had... and still thought it was the best gift in the world. I love to see the expression on her face as she is opening presents!!

Christmas with the McBrayers

We had Christmas with my family this past weekend. Our house was like a zoo!! Drew and his family came down on Saturday and spent the night. The girls had so much fun playing together!! I can't imagine what it will be like when Taylor and J are BOTH running around the house. We had a great visit with my Dad, Wanda, and Mallory on Sunday. The guys played golf and the girls shopped until the kids had to nap:) It was good to be able to share Christmas with my family in my own house this year!! We are staying home throughout the holidays for Taylor to be able to really enjoy Christmas. We have SEVERAL parties, family gatherings, and presents to open. Stay tuned for more!!

This is Tay in her playhouse she got from Nona and Poppa... eating her dessert

Thanksgiving Holidays

We traveled to Columbus over Thanksgiving. We had TONS of places we had to go, but it was fun. Taylor got to see her whole family, all grandparents, etc. She was full of herself the entire time we were home... I think she really likes having attention. She and Drew got along so well. They love each other so much and don't get to see each other enough!! We are so thankful for our families and are so happy we got to spend time with everyone!! Last trip we will make home before Baby J is born:)

Taylor is helping Cici put icing on the cinnamon rolls....

Mimi had everyone for dinner and dirty santa Friday night! She decorated everything Ole Miss. Taylor about had a fit over this Rebel.. she is such a scardey cat!!

Taylor and Drew out at the Wamble Farm Thanksgiving Day... it was cold, but they had so much fun!! Mimi had a hayride for all the kids, but little miss priss would NOT ride!!

More Oxford

This is my not so shy child standing in the window of a restaraunt on the square in Oxford. WE had a really good table, so Taylor decided she was going to wave at people in the window that were passing by. Several people stopped to say hello to her and she loved it!!

Can you tell that she got all the attention in the world last weekend??

Excuse the beer bottle on the table, Taylor was having a dance party! Oh the joys of having a 2-year old... some days it's hard enough just to go out for dinner. (I'm sure you can tell)

Taylor LOVES her Pop Pop!!
