Andrew, Linda, and Baby Drew came to stay with us this weekend!! James and Andrew played in a golf tournament and James' parents came to keep both babies while we went to the crawfish boil Saturday night!! It was so much fun getting the babies together and spending time with everyone. The babies had a blast and were so good all weekend! They are so funny how they play together and snatch stuff from each other. Whatever one has.. the other one wants it.. can we say they are a little SPOILED?? They love each other and that's all we care about!!

We decided to snap a few pics of the babies after church and it turned into a full photo session!! These babies are so funny!! I think they have finally decided to enjoy all the flashes!!

7 MONTHS OLD!!!!!!!

Taylor is 7 months old!!! She is growing oh so fast!! She has such a little personality that we can't imagine what she will be like in the near future!! She loves little children.. if we see them(anywhere) she screams out loud at them.. I guess that is her way of communicating!! She is not like the typical baby.. saying dadada.. or mamama or even bababa.. she just screams a little girly scream to talk to us.. or anybody else for that matter!! She has found her giggle box lately, there are certain things that we can do or say to make her laugh!! A few of her favorites include: the newsman on tv and wheel of fortune (who knows why.. maybe all the dinging noises!!), stage 2 baby food.. she is a very good eater in case you couldn't tell from the pics :), playing on the floor, bathtime, anything outside, cartoons, riding in her stroller, playing in her swimming pool, her sippy cup.. still trying to figure it all out, but she loves biting on it, and teething tablets ( i guess she thinks they are like candy)... she really gets excited when she sees them!!!

MEET MISS LEXI

Drew and Holli are now the proud parents of a new baby girl... Lexi Ryan McBrayer. She weighed in at 7lbs and 5 oz. 20 3/4 inches long!! She is such a sweet baby!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! We love you guys!!

Anniversary!!!

Yay to 3 years!!! I can't believe how fast these 3 years have gone by. I have the sweetest husband and I'm so thankful to have him in my life!! James is not the romantic flower-sending sort of guy.. but today he was!!! I really appreciate all that you do for me and our family.... God picked the perfect husband for me and the perfect daddy for Taylor!!! We love you and I look forward to MANY, MANY years ahead!!!

Getting Ready.... For Summer!!!!

We bought Taylor a pool for the summer. We bought it early so that she could "play" in it now.. without the water!! We love spending time outside.. and this is a great "playpen" for Taylor. She thought it was so much fun to sit in it!! I have plans of getting yard work done while she is playing in it.. (yeah.. we'll see if that happens!!) It was too cool and windy yesterday to stay outside in it.. but we tried it out and she LOVES it!! Taylor is a very busy girl and this is a great way to keep her entertained!!

Happy Days

We had a wonderful weekend!! The weather was beautiful and we all got to play!! It is really nice to have a weekend where you don't have any plans and you just get to relax and enjoy it!! Our weekends are really booked up from here on out.. so we took advantage of this one!!
Saturday night, we grilled out at our friends, Adam and Mary's house. The babies had so much fun playing with each other. Baby Jackson didn't get in any of the pics because he was sleeping. He was such a good boy!! Don't worry.. he will be down on the floor playing with the rest of them in no time!! It was good to hang out and see everyone!! Our lives are all so busy it's hard to get together!! Looking forward to the summer with this crew!!

Just for the record: Taylor did have an outfit on, but it was cold and we thought she might get sleepy soon.. so we put her pj's on her!! Needless to say, she stayed up way past her bedtime and played really hard!!

Bath Time Fun

Taylor got to try out a new bath tub over the weekend... and she LOVES it. Bath time is one of Taylor's favorites because she can just splash and splash!! She has tons of bath toys and she tries to get ALL of them into her lap.. it is hilarious!! (she might be a little stingy..jk) It is easy to get pics of her smiling.. because she is having so much fun!! I hope this means she will LOVE the pool this summer!!! Can't wait to try that out!!

Not ONE.... but TWO

I can't believe that I am writing about this so soon.. but Taylor Leigh has TWO TEETH!!!! The doctor told us that it could be a week or so, but nothing happened so we just figured that she was FUSSY because of her reflux.. long story short, we took her off the medicine to see if it had cleared up on its own.. and low and behold.. we were seeing a whole different child. She wasn't really spitting up all that much, but she was arching her back and flipping all over the place to try and ease the pain. We started her back on the medicine Sunday. She will stay on it until she is a year old... and get re-evaluated then. We are totally okay with that considering the circumstances.. the doctor told us that teething can really make the reflux act up!!!! Anyway, back to my story!!! Last night Taylor was smiling and we saw something white in her mouth... James and I both looked at each other and I almost cried. I couldn't get a good look at them because she locked her lips when I tried to open her mouth.. but I DEFINITELY felt them. They are sharp as a knife!! They have already cut through the surface, but are not all the way out!! Me being a new mom.. I have no idea how that works or how long it takes for them to come all the way out and look like real teeth!! We are hoping this will be the start to a happier Taylor since they have broken through... teething is not fun... but seeing new teeth is!!! I can't belive how fast this whole growing up process is!!! We love her so much!!

Full of Joy

This child is so full of energy.. and JOY!!! She definitely keeps us on the move. I am loving my new camera and as you can see.. I am having fun playing with it!! Have a wonderful week!!
