Slowing Down

Well, it seems as though things are slowing down for us a little. School has started for all the school kids and teachers, but Mother's Day Out doesn't start until after Labor Day. The pool doesn't open until the afternoon, so we are trying to keep busy and not get too bored. It is so very hot outside that we are trying to keep busy inside. Taylor is so excited to start school. She is also going to take ballet and tap starting in September. She is super excited about that!! J is so busy these days. He is playing non-stop on the floor with all kinds of toys.. and his sister. He had his 6 month check-up and shots. He is 20 lbs 14 oz.... and is exceeding the weight limit on his car seat. We have ordered another one because he is so heavy I can't carry him around in it anymore. He is such a big boy..... he is now sitting up in the buggy while we shop. He is not a big fan of his baby food anymore, mainly because he wants what we are eating, so I am no longer buying it. J has learned how to chew food... with no teeth. Here is a run-down of the things he has tried: spaghetti, oatmeal, eggs, muffins, baked beans, peas, sweet potatoes, toast, mashed potatoes, potato salad, fish sticks, vienna sausage, tater tots, banana, popsicles, yogurt, jello, and pudding. He is such a good eater. He is still not sleeping through the night, but sleeping better. He is still such a happy, fun, lovable baby.... and we are so thankful for that. Here are a few pics from the last few weeks. Enjoy!!
