New Clubs and a Funny Story!!

Taylor has really enjoyed "practicing" with her golf clubs. Daddy is happy because she is a fast learner and really knows that she is supposed to hit the ball with the club. The only thing she gets confused about is the fact that she calls the club a bat! We had to make sure the clubs stayed outside ONLY because she likes to chase Kane around the house and whack him with them. She does have a bat.. and she does the same thing with that. (poor Kane) She is growing up sooo fast and we are enjoying every minute of it!!

When I picked Taylor up from school yesterday, the teacher told me some funny news about Tay!! She told me that Taylor was jumping on the mats with two other kids. The teacher knew they were doing it, but she turned her back to see what they would do without her looking. Taylor continued to jump for a few minutes and then stopped. She said as soon as she stopped, she ran to the teacher and said "Lela(for Sheila), Fofie(Sophie) and Kifton(Clifton) jumping!! Wook (look)!! Now if that is not a tattle tale... I don't know what is.... the bad thing is that she was joining in on the fun before she told!!! Boy we have our hands full!!!! She is a TOTAL MESS!!!

4 YEARS!!!!

Yesterday, James and I (and Taylor) celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary!! It is hard to believe that we have been married that long. We have had so many changes, that it seems like a lot longer. We are so thankful for his new job, our new hometown, my new job, and our new house!!! Man have we had a lot happen since last year!! We have had a WONDERFUL and very REWARDING 4 years of marriage. I couldn't ask for a better husband, and father, who loves us so dearly!! I am proud to say that I cannot wait for the rest of our journey together!!
PS: No pics of us at the moment... will post over the weekend!! With a little help.. I surprised James with a new putter... and boy was he SHOCKED!! I do not pick out golf clubs simply because I don't know what the heck to buy!! Surprise, Surprise.. he's keeping it... and LOVES IT!!!!

Easter 2009

Before we had lunch, Mimi brought eggs filled with money for Taylor and Drew to hunt. They had fun and Taylor's basket was so full she could barely carry it. This made for her 4th egg hunt this season. She LOVES it and I have a feeling she will play with these thousands of eggs for a while. Some eggs had candy in them.. and she liked that, too. She is still trying to open them all and get the "prize" out!! We had a wonderful Easter with family. It was so good to get the kids together!! They are so much fun.... and definitley keep us entertained!!! Happy Easter to all!!

Easter Bunny Hops on over to the Wamble House

The Easter bunny left LOTS of presents at our house this morning. Taylor got golf clubs from daddy!!! She loves them... pushes the cart around like a buggy and likes to "putt" with the clubs. She likes using it as a buggy more than a golf bag. LOL!! She does love to watch her daddy "swing" the golf club outside.. which happens SO OFTEN at our house. How could she not like golf with her daddy being that crazy about it?? It's really cute because she will imitate what James does while he is practicing!! The Easter bunny also left bubbles (gallon size), a book, a fishy toy, and a wind-up duck for the bathtub!! Taylor got Easter happies from Cici and Pop and Uncle Andrew, Aunt Linda, and Drew also. Needless to say.... it was like Christmas at our house this morning with TWO kids!!!

HCC Egg Hunt

The Wamble crew came to our house for Easter this year. We were so happy to have everyone in our home. The guys went golfing on Saturday and we took the kids to the Easter Egg hunt at The country club. Drew and Taylor had so much fun. There were tons of kids, so it was very hard for them to collect a lot of eggs. The Easter Bunny was there, but Taylor wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with him. She screamed every time he came near her. Drew, on the other hand, LOVED him. He thought he was funny to watch. They had cookies and visited with the bunny before the hunting started. Towards the end of the day, Taylor crouched up to the bunny (with me holding her hand and persuading her) ONLY to get a toy out of his basket. I snapped the only picture I could get with Tay and the Easter Bunny. They also had a little pool filled with rubber ducks for the kids to play with. This was the most fun for Drew and Taylor. They splashed and splashed and splashed with those ducks until they were soaking wet..... it was a lot of fun!!!!

Taylor's School Egg Hunt

Taylor had an Easter Egg Hunt at her school last Thursday. Thankfully, my school was out for Easter Break, so I was able to go. It was so funny to watch the kids in her class. Taylor is the youngest, so I thought the others would be more experienced... NOT the case. Tay knew exactly what to do and tried to collect the most eggs. There are 6 girls in her class and almost none of them were as ready to go as Taylor. The three boys were pretty good at it!! She LOVES it and I had so much fun watching her!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Taylor and I went with a friend of mine, Heather, to an Easter Egg hunt. The girls had so much fun... not that they actually knew what to do! Taylor finally got the hang of it and thought it was fun to put the eggs in her basket. We have 2 more egg hunts to go to before Easter, so I'm sure she will have more and more fun each time!!It was such a pretty day... and was nice to be outside. Thanks for inviting us Heather, we really enjoyed it!!
